Casual Bank Night Concierges

Who we are looking for

To join our Casual Bank Night Concierge Team you must have the right mix of experience, skills and attitude. You will be responsible for the safety of clients and visitors while on your shift. You must hold an SIA Licence or similar security-level Licence. We want people who will be pro-active in maintaining security in the building; and can deal with any issues or emergencies, which arise during a shift. As a Casual Bank Night Concierge you must be able to work effectively in an environment that may be challenging; and must maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.

The Casual Bank Night Concierge role is a waking night post; and this will require a minimum of 2-hourly patrols during a shift.

Rate: £9.50 per hour

Hours: Casual bank, variable hours with shifts between 10 and 12 hours, including a one hour break. Night shifts: Start times between 7p.m and 9p.m; and finish times between 7a.m and 9a.m.

Work is offered on an ad hoc basis. If suitable work is available it may be offered to you, although Branches is under no obligation to do so and you are under no obligation to accept any offer of work from Branches. As a casual bank Receptionist you will not be entitled to organisational or statutory sick pay and you will not be eligible to join Branches’ occupational pension scheme.

Under the Working Time Regulations 1998 as amended by the Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2001 you are entitled to paid annual leave at the rate of 5.6 weeks per complete year of work on a pro rata basis.
