Casual Bank Reception

Branches Hostel supports homeless men and women. We have a 27-bed purpose built hostel in Waltham Forest, east London. Many of the people we support have mental health and/or substance dependency support needs.

We are open 24/7, so if you want to join our casual bank Receptionist Team you will need to be flexible and able to work weekends, early and evening shifts.

Who we are looking for:
People who can use their initiative and who will enjoy the challenges of working on reception in a support needs environment.  We want to hear from you if you have excellent communication skills, and a ‘can do’ attitude in your work.  You will provide a first-rate reception service for the client group, all callers and visitors to Branches and have great IT skills.

About you
You will be confident dealing with a range of people, including difficult situations that may arise. You will have an understanding of the support needs of vulnerable people and will be able to communicate confidently yet sensitively with residents and service users.  Ideally, you will have some experience of working in the homeless area or a similar, support-needs environment working with vulnerable groups of people.
