Casual Bank Workers

We provide hostel accommodation for single homeless men and women in Waltham Forest. We are open 24/7. So if you want to join our Bank Worker Team you will need to be flexible, able to work weekends, early start and evening shifts.

Are you a great people person?  Do you have an understanding of the needs of vulnerable people?  Would you enjoy the variety and challenges of working in a support-service environment? If yes, then we’d love to hear from you.

You will enjoy interacting with groups and individuals and have a positive, ‘can do’ manner. You will be working closely with our permanent support staff team, reception and night concierges who provide support and general housing management of the hostel. Ideally, you will already have experience in a homeless or a similar support-needs service for vulnerable groups of people. You may bring work experience from one of a number of areas including mental health, alcohol or substance dependency, young or older people, survivors of domestic violence or young offenders. you may bring life experiences of having used support services in the past.  Above all, you will have great communication skills and the ability to adapt and work flexibly in the day-day environment.
