Resettlement Worker (part-time, fixed term 12 months) – £24k pro-rata

You do not need a formal qualification to join us as a Resettlement Worker but you must have the right mix of experience, skills and attitude.

This is not a desk-bound role.

The Resettlement Worker is a hands-on role and you will be comfortable and confident in your interactions with the client group, be a visible presence in the hostel and engaged with the day-to-day work of the organisation. You must be a collaborative team player and equally confident and capable, working alone.

As the Resettlement Worker you will bring:

Experience of supporting vulnerable people in a housing or other support-related area;  resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to motivate individuals in the client group towards their goals and support them to maintain their accommodation; excellent communication skills including communicating with individuals in a non-judgemental way and ability to build trusting yet professional relationships with clients; and initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude in your day-to-day work.
